Conde Nasty Business at Tatler HQ: RIP Alan
If you haven’t yet heard, Alan TBH Plumptre (yes, you read right), the miniature Dashund often seen scampering around Tatler HQ sadly died this week. In a bizarre accident involving the revolving doors at Vogue House, poor Alan met his untimely demise by running to chase a gentleman and leaving Alan’s neck caught in the door and the gentleman in question also trapped. Despite the quick response of two Fire engines (yes, I cant seem to get my head around the need for two either) the doggie could not be saved. The man however did live (in case you cared).
A celebrity among the well heeled at Conde Nast and beyond (Alan even had his own Twitter page with over 2500 followers) the sad news led to the hash tag #condenasty doing the rounds, and no doubt a need for all dogs at Conde Nast to be forcibly carried in totes from now on. The big question is, will Alan be granted a memorial page in the next issue of Tatler? I sure do hope so. And if this story has made you a little teary eyed, just remember that all dogs go to Heaven.

Oh man, I heard about the poor pup’s passing but I wasn’t aware of the gruesome circumstances..! Nightmares tonight methinks.

Oh so that’s what people were tweeting about, I thought a real person had died! Sounds like a horrible accident, poor little thing
Is there going to be a little statue of Alan outside Tatler offices for his fans to visit?
I really hope so! Maybe an online petition is needed!
