Yet another London Fashion Week came to a close on Tuesday but not before we got to feast our eyes on some fantastic collections. Unfortunately, being stuck up North meant I missed all the fun but check out our editor, Katie’s Mark Fast and Ashish show reviews here. Although it was pretty darned difficult to narrow things down, here are my top 3 super wearable LFW SS14 looks…
The first offering is from London based label, Ostwald Helgason, started by design duo Susanne Ostwald and Ingvar Helgason back in 2008. LFW spring/summer ’14 was big on blue and as you can see, Ostwald Helgason also favoured this particular hue in the form of this rather elegant pleated floral dress.
It wasn’t just the colour blue ruling the runway, pink was pretty big news too. This simplistic creation from relatively new label, Zoë Jordan, stood out because not only is it lovely but if you are going to splurge on designer gear and you don’t have copious amounts of cash at your disposal then it’s probably best to opt for an outfit you can mix and match with various different styles.
British designer, Osman Yousefzada has always been partial to the occasional print in his previous OSMAN collections which I have never really been a major fan of, until now. Teaming this unusual tree print design with such a gorgeous colour scheme looked great on the runway but personally I think would look even more smashing hanging up in my wardrobe.
