Skin on skin: 4 ways to work neutral tones without looking washed out

Nude is an elegant and timeless colour that smartens up any outfit.  Best suited to darker skintones and brunettes, I’m going to try and get in on the look despite being blonde and a tad pale.  Teaming with navy, black and grey, gives a polished finished, whilst accenting with neutral tones is an effortless way to wear a tricky colour.

Other soft tones to try include: light grey, camel, gold-metallics and taupe.

Failing that, spray tan and some low-lights please…
