Style & Then Some

Could 118 118 make you more beautiful?

Those 118 118 guys sure look like they take care of themselves don’t they? Those moustaches must certainly take some TLC. That well-groomed facial fuzz is perhaps the inspiration behind the 118 118 venture into the beauty market. Working in a similar way to the Taste Card, (a discount card for London restaurants), the 118 118 Beauty Pass offers up to 75% discount at 800 beauty salons across the England (mostly in London but they have now branched out to Essex, Birmingham, Bristol and Reading). The Pass normally costs £29.99 a year but you can get a one month trial for free.

The scheme is currently being promoted to women across London, so last week we welcomed the 118 118 Beauty team into my office in Aldgate. They bought with them a couple of talented nail technicians who treated us to complementary manicures. Impressed by the mani action, I signed up to the Pass straight away.

As someone who has highlighted hair and a loves a good Brazilian this card really will pay for itself. With so many salons signed up it’s easy for me to find one close to either work or home. Although I found the website a little hard to navigate, you can search via treatment or postcode. I’ve now got a Brazilian hot wax and my first ever massage booked in at a salon which is a ten minute walk from my house – both at half price. Looking good never felt so easy on my wallet.
