Rejoice! It’s Boots Season again

What’s that I feel on my bare legs, my exposed shoulders? Is that a chill in the air? Why yes, yes it is. And what with the rains finally returning to these fair shores alongside a noticeable drop in temperature this week, its time to say the phrase that some dread, and some welcome; summer, folks, is on the wane.

But if you’re a summer baby, and this news fills you with nostalgic sadness for sunshiney evenings and long days, relax; there’s a silver lining to this here incoming cloud. And it’s called Boots Season.

Who doesn’t love a boot? Chic, functional, varied, and they keep your feet dry, its time to dust off your old pair, realise they no longer satisfy your footwear needs and buy some more. Luckily, the high street has caught on to our wandering eyes (or indeed, feet) and presented the first twinklings of AW collections in stores. Its time to discard those flimsy, blister-inducing sandals and create yourself a must-have list on your phones, folks – the boots are coming.
